Our next "Global Tastes of Â鶹´«Ã½" event will feature the cuisines, cultures and stories of local immigrant communities from across Latin America!

Four Global Tastes of Â鶹´«Ã½ events held since spring 2016 celebrating and honoring the food, culture and stories of local Syrian, Congolese, and Bhutanese-Nepali refugees have raised $9,000 in support of local resettlement and related refugee support. See information on previous events below.

Project Purpose

The purpose of the project is to increase cultural awareness and collaboration and to empower and support refugees and refugee-owned businesses in the Â鶹´«Ã½ area. Refugees who participate in this project are invited to join existing small business development activities through the Â鶹´«Ã½ Small Business Development Center & Women's Entrepreneuship Center and the Â鶹´«Ã½ Area Community Foundation.
